Dr. Kristin Helaine Parris, MD

I am most fortunate to have Dr Parris for my doctor. She is a patient listener, highly intelligent and considerate. When necessary, she takes extra time with her patients. She is an expert diagnostician, detecting a heart issue on my first visit that had not been diagnosed before.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parris since she came to the Maine Med building in the Highlands several years ago. I have always been impressed with her, both the ability to recognize problems and to address them promptly. I always enjoy our appointments!!

I have been a patient of MidCoast Medical for over 15 years Over the summer, due to my doctor retiring, I met with Dr Kristin Parrish to establish a relationship and continue care. During our conversation, the first question She asked was if I monitored my blood pressure at home. I replied "Yes, ever since the China Virus hit." Even though many use the term ( I've called it China Virus since the beginning) and I did not say it in any offensive way, Dr Parrish got very offended, abruptly ending my appointment, without any further discussion and terminated my care. The next day I received a letter calling me a "Racist" and Banning me from the Mid Coast Medical practice

Dr. Parris was my 95-year-old mother‘s physician until she moved. We are so sorry to lose her. Her rapport and respect for my mother were wonderful, her medical training is impeccable, and she has good instincts. We were also very impressed with her skills with working with the family, and her concern for my mother as a whole person. I can’t recommend her highly enough. In this age of corporate driven medicine, it is very rare to find a doctor like this.
