Schmitter Family Dental was opened in June 2014 when Dr. Kristin Schmitter-Webster bought Access Dental of Brentwood. Dr. Schmitter is originally from middle TN and moved back to be closer to family. When she met the team members from Access Dental, she knew this was where she wanted to build her practice. The team members are warm, inviting and full of energy and strive to make each patient's experience the best one they've ever had.
Dr. Schmitter attended Wake Forest University, earned her B.A. in mathematics and a minor in studio art. It was the combination of artistic talent and medicine that drew her to the dental field. Her dental training was completed at UTHSC in Memphis where she was given the Operative Dentistry Award for her clinical skills. She also earned her AEGD certificate when she finished her residency in general dentistry. After being in private practice for a few years in Memphis, Dr. Schmitter moved her family back home to middle TN. For fun, Dr. Schmitter …enjoys reading, painting, playing her flute and playing with her two daughters.
