Dr. Kristin Carol Smith, MD

Dr. Smith provided me with impeccable care. Her office team is top notch. When you have breast cancer, you want the very best during a scary time, and I found that with Dr. Smith and the Winchester Hospital Breast Care Center. Extremely caring, competent, and skilled. From the ultrasound to lumpectomy, I have nothing but praise for the team.

I was referred to Dr. Smith after experiencing breast pain. Since I have a history of abnormal biopsies, cysts, and being on a 5 yr. regimen of Tamoxifen, I believed I needed to be evaluated. I had a mammogram, ultrasound and a one on one exam with Dr. Smith. She was calm, explained how breast pain is not always catastrophic and mine was not caused by cancer. I left feeling confident that she had checked the tests, checked me, and spent the time needed to assure me I was ok. That is what every woman needs in a breast doctor.

She is rude, insulting, incompetent. Find a different Doctor!

I myself work in healthcare and after my first and only interaction with this physician I feel that she is just not cut out for patient interactions. She is exceptionally rude, crass, overbearing and lacks the empathy and compassion her patients need and deserve. This physician stomped into my room, speaking in an exceptionally obnoxiously loud and demanding voice. She has poor people skills and is very good at causing peoples anxiety to rise. When you go in to see a breast surgeon you are already frightened enough, but to have someone like her and her mentality approach you the way she does it makes you feel like running for the door. I say avoid her at all cost.
