Summary
I chose the specialty of pediatrics because the children who were the most ill, had wonderful attitudes. I always enjoyed the science aspect, as well as the patient care. My philosophy of patient care is to be honest and straightforward.
I work closely with parents in caring for their children’s health and well-being. Parents should know that I maintain board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
I encourage pregnant women and their partners to schedule a "get-acquainted" visit during the prenatal period so that they can establish a personal relationship with me before the baby arrives.
Outside of medicine, I’m married and have two sons of my own. I spend my free time reading, exercising and playing with my kids.
