Dr. Kristina Jin Kim, DO

Dr. Kim is the kind of doctor we are all looking for. She is knowledgeable, caring, considerate and compassionate. My insurance changed a couple of years ago and I was forced to find another doctor. After a year and 3 doctors (!), my insurance company corrected their mistake and I was thankfully able to return to her care.

Dr. Kim comes across as both experienced and astute. While I value these qualities in a doctor, they are not enough for me to trust someone. A person is not just a broken machine or faulty cogwheel to be prepossessed. Dr. Kim views her patients as whole persons. What I find most important is that she treated me with genuine respect and human dignity. I had lost faith that this kind of experience was even possible in the current medical industry. After being ill for so long, I am finally beginning to heal. Good health requires a holistic approach. With so much emphasis on specialization, most doctors have lost touch with the overall connectedness of the human body/being.

Why can't all doctors be like this? Dr. Kim takes the time to know me as a whole person/patient. She was warm, conscientious and professional. She was very easy to talk to and I felt like I was in great hands. The only problem is she is difficult to get an appointment with..no wonder she is so popular, she's a great doctor. Highly highly recommend.
