I left the previous review. It was in fact Walgreens who gave me false information. I talked to a manager this morning. A pharmacy technician did not use the computer system properly & gave me false information placing the blame on the prescriber. Kristina Mershon fixed the situation when she got into the office. She contacted me. Vitals will not let me remove or edit my previous review. There is no information to contact this website to rectify this, which has is unfair to both patient & medical provider.

Due to poor record keeping she allowed me to go cold turkey from SNRI medicine used for seizure control. Medically, it is warned not to do this due to sever withdrawal, including seizures. She did not put the reason for my visit 4 months before as medication check. When Walgreens called to refill my medication, she denied it. Her office told Walgreens I needed to make an appointment before they would refill it. Neither her office nor Walgreens passed that information on to me. It wasn't until I was out & symptomatic that I found out I had no refills & would not be getting any. Sinnississpi Centers does not have an after hours service for what they call the "medicalside". I discovered this on Saturday after contacting Walgreens when it was still not filled. It was a 3 day weekend. I had to wait until Tuesday just to contact them. The had denied my refill request the previous Wednesday. I had a seizure, non-stop head zaps, balance issues, migraines, aphasia & trouble… communicating, nausea & vomiting, & loss of emotional control. I am deeply disturbed by this chain of events & the complete breakdown of communication. No effort was made to contact me to ensure there was no disruption of my medication. I required a med check every 6 months. I had been there in April. It is August, 4 months later. Obviously there were not 6 months of refills sent to Walgreens. I am looking for a new primary care & would not recommend her to anyone.
