Dr. Kristina Nori Shigyo, MD

I spent 12 hours in great pain trying to pass a 1 cm dia kidney stone. I went to the Little Company of Mary, San Pedro ED to get help to pass the rock and to have some great pain management. Dr. Shigyo knew what to do. After she had the nurse put an IV, with proper management and other proper pain medications, I hydrated then the pain went away. Thank God for doctors that know what they are doing and take the right steps to make you comfortable and help you pass a over sized kidney stone! Thank you Dr. Kristina!!

Fixed me up nicely. Had to cut me open a bit but the shot before helped, didnt feel a thing.. and barely any scar! Nice work

Brushed off a stroke, stating was alcohol abuse as alcohol showed up in blood work (1 beer) and actually released patient. Patient collapsed in emergency when stood up to leave. She then realized this was not a 'stumbling drunk' as she indicated to another party. Did additional work up on blood, it showed very little alcohol intake. It was a Mini Stroke.
