This appt was pre-scheduled for routine follow-up and I answered the survey questions as such. However, the evening prior to this appt I began having symptoms - lung inflammation, productive cough, and headache. So Dr Sturgill assessed those symptoms in addition to the other ones. Flu/COVID/RSV PCR was ordered and specimen collected and she provided a clear "if then" pathway for follow-up and explained her reasoning. I have compromised lungs so this information and priority is very important to me. I was so very impressed and relieved when Dr Sturgill called me later that eveing (a Friday night) to tell me the flu A test was positive and that she phoned in an rx for tamiflu, This was exceptional patient care .

Dr. was thoughtful. Exam was not very thorough. Too much time wasted on mental health, not enough time on physical exam.
