Dr. Kristina Prapatsorn Tansavatdi, MD

Dr. Tansavatdi was recommended to me while I was under the care of another surgeon. When I asked that surgeon who she would recommend for under-eye bag (blepharoplasty) surgery, she unequivocally stated if she was having facial surgery, Dr. Tansavatdi would be her choice. Having the endorsement of a surgeon who I respected as being very skilled, and I also trusted to be completely honest, meant a great deal to me. In researching Dr. Tansavatdi on-line prior to making an appointment, I found dozens of outstanding reviews from her past patients, who all appeared to be completely satisfied with both their experience and their results. I found this to be an additional endorsement of Dr. Tansavadti’s skills. I wish to start this review by stating every member of Dr. Tansavatdi’s staff are incredible professionals. Each member of the team she has assembled are wonderful people. They are extremely friendly and personable, and do their absolute best to accommodate their patient’s… needs. It is not uncommon for medical professionals to run late in meeting appointment schedules, however this has never been my experience with Dr. Tansavatdi’s office. I have always been seen right on time. This tells me Dr. Tansavatdi and her staff respect my time as much as I appreciate the time I am afforded during my office visits. In my initial consultation with Dr. Tansavatdi, I explained how I had developed under-eye bags several years ago. Dr. Tansavatdi took the time to listen to my history and concerns, as well as the results I wished to achieve (a natural appearing result). Dr. Tansavatdi thoroughly explained the various options available to achieve my desired results in plain English, as well as how I might expect recover from each procedure. She thoroughly educated me regarding the benefits and potential limitations of each approach (surgical versus non-surgical procedures) in my desire to rid myself of my under-eye bags. It was immediately apparent to me Dr. Tansavatdi was passionate about her craft, and wished to collaboratively work with her patients to achieve the best possible result. I never felt pressured to go one way or the other – the decision was completely mine. As I am extremely nervous about any medical procedure, Dr. Tansavatdi did a great job of compassionately putting me at ease with her thorough and honest explanations. It has been my experience that Dr. Tansavatdi takes the time to get to know each of her patients, and create a relationship with them – which I really appreciate. I never got the feeling I was rushed out the door like just another box to tick in her daily schedule – she always took ample time to thoroughly conduct her examination, get to know me, and answer my questions. I also learned Dr. Tansavatdi’s credentials are impeccable, as she was educated and trained at renowned institutions, as well as being mentored by skilled and experienced surgeons in her early career. Because my procedure was purely cosmetic and not covered by insurance, Dr. Tansavatdi’s staff did a great job of explaining the various financial options available to me. I found the pricing to be extremely reasonable for my procedure, and definitely in-line with what I expected the procedure to cost. Her staff did a great job of explaining the pre-operative and post-operative steps (including medication) I needed to follow to achieve my desired result. On the day of my procedure, everyone did an outstanding job of putting me at ease and making the experience as smooth as possible. My surgical experience (in-office) was nothing short of outstanding. One thing which clearly separated Dr. Tansavatdi from other medical professionals I have seen in the past was that she herself called me on the evening following my procedure (well after normal office hours) to check on my welfare. One doesn’t often find that level of care and dedication these days. Insofar as my results are concerned, I couldn’t be happier. It was my feeling my under-eye bags made me look tired, older than I actually was – and generally affected the way I felt about myself. Dr. Tansavatdi is a true artist. People who never knew I had surgery have no idea I have undergone this procedure, as the results are completely natural looking. My highest praises to Dr. Tansavatdi and all her staff!
