Dr. Kristine Dawn Bruno, MD

My primary left town 8 years back, ended up with Dr. Bruno, didn't feel like switching again. Have never liked or trusted her. Rude, never listens, always in a hurry, has nurse call with bad results but no solutions, misdiagnosed me with a seizure disorder at one point, have to beg for referrals or other studies, always seems to dismiss everything. I now have several bad health issues that I feel would not have progressed to this point had she listened, ordered studies a year ago, referred me to specialists, and truly cared. Absolutely seems to just not care. Not sure if she's just sick of being a doctor or what, but if so, she should retire. I finally found a new primary and have to now start over when I have several serious medical problems.

Every time that I have been to see Dr. Bruno she was very curt, and to the point. she was very no nonsense and lacked bedside manners. She was just rude. I had planned to change primary doctors but I was injured at work and had to see her. Knowing how all of our interactions were in the past, I was prepared for a battle. So you can imagine my surprise when she came in and actually begin to talk to me and not at me. She even told me a joke! She maintained eye contact and smiled. She is always thorough but this time she was kind as well. I may think twice before I change my doctor!

She lacks understanding of what I have gone through with having cancer and the follow-up treatments. She did not show any compassion or offer much help in dealing with my ailments. I will not be seeing her again.

I don't doubt her medical diagnostic ability but she needs to lighten up and slow down. She's always late â??of course all Doctors areâ?? but I get the sense she overworked with too many patients and maybe that's Aurora's fault. But she's like give me the facts so I can write a script or refer you because I've got 50 more patients to see today and I need to pick up my kids from something. Bottom line is it's time for me to switch primary physicians. Dr. Bruno, please take a vacation.

I came in for a physical and she wasted no time getting started. When I informed her that I was diagnosed with Vaginismus, thus making an annual physical, a little challenging - she ignored me. She refused to be patient. And when I told her I was in pain she abruptly stopped the exam and said "well no pap for you today" - she removed her gloves and even though I was in tears, she left the room. She came back with paperwork and said "make an appointment for your mammogram, stay in the room as long as you need to" - but she left! I was embarrased, hurt, and neglected. She didn't even try to be sensitive to my needs.

Dr. Bruno greeted me with angry eyes. Since this was my first visit I knew it wasn't something I did. She was professional,read comments of other doctors,asked questions,conducted exam,came to a conclusion, ordered the prescription and gave the name of a specalist.

Always very patient with what ever questions you have. Not like some doctors that make you feel like you are being rushed through your appt.Very little waiting time from the time you walk in the room till Dr Bruno comes in.Pleasing personality and very thorough. I would reck amend her highly to anyone.

Dr. Bruno is a competent diagnostician but lacks compassion for her patient's distress. Follows all the recognized recommendations but fails to connect with the patient.

Title says it all, caring, thorough, inovative, and above all competent.
