We got her fired terrible physician. Didnt care when my wife was about to die and needed surgery guess what still never happened she fights daily dr. Cooper is a joke

My first appointment w/Dr. Cooper was an eye opener! Apparently, she did her homework & was ready to question me on thoroughly on my health history. She ordered diagnostic tests to make sure she had all the information for her consultation w/me. She was reassuring, knowledgeable, & not only showed her concern for ALL my chronic health conditions, she wrote all her orders in longhand, so I could refer back to them if I had any questions. My initial visit was 2 hours. I don't know if she donates the extra time herself. I'm pretty sure medicare does not cover the extra time she spent w//me . I've had many doctrs over the years, but Dr. Cooper rates a #1 with me!

Dr. Cooper was the best doctor I have ever had in my adult life. She was thorough in her explanations and compassionate in her conversation. Despite the difficulty of discovering a specific diagnosis , she took the time to go over my symptoms, explained about medications, and made me feel reassured. I wish there was a way to find our if she is practicing in the area.

I agree with everyone,She is a good Dr.and i miss her as well.I have had quite a time finding another Dr. Good ones are few and far between

I would love to know where she went. DIM really lost a good Dr when she left. I think they made a huge mistake letting her go. Where ever she is I'm sure she will have happy patients.

Not sure why Dr. Cooper is still listed as being with Dubuque Internal Medicine, since she was terminated as of Dec. 31st. 2015. I am glad I read these reviews, since I believed she was terminated because she spent so much time with her patients. I was sick when I opened the letter and saw I no longer had the best Doctor I have found in this town. She took her time with patients because she cared about them. She did not just give you a pill and say see me in six months. I would also like to find were she went, because I would go to her in a heartbeat. Too bad Dubuque Internal Medicine lost a very good Doctor because of the all almighty dollar. I wish you well Dr. Cooper where ever you are. Shame on Dubuque Internal Medicine, you did not realize what you had.

Dr. Cooper was the absolute best doctor I have EVER been to hands down. She actually took the time to listen to her patients. I am no longer going to Dubuque Internal Medicine because of the way the rest of the "doctors" treated me. They just rush people in and out as quick as possible and don't really care about the person themselves. If the reason Doctor Cooper was terminated was indeed because she cared too much about her patients, then I hope D.I.M. needs to apologize to the community for loosing a great great doctor. If I could get an honest answer as to where Doctor Cooper went, I'd would go there to be her patient again. I would drive several hours just to be her patient. I hope D.I.M. realizes what they did. They not only lost the best Doctor they had but have alienated a lot of patients who are all being VERY vocal about how they feel.

Update to original post. Dr. Cooper was terminated by Dubuque Internal Medicine for spending to much time with her patients. I could not believe it when I heard it, but they wanted to limit the time that she spends with a patient so they could run as many people through their medical industry people mill as they possibly could. So much for caring for the patient instead of the almighty dollar!!!! Shame on you Dubuque Internal Medicine you missed out on having a great Doctor. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU DOCTOR COOPER. Start your own practice and you will run them out of business.

In all my life Dr. Cooper is hands down the absolute finest doctor there is. I'm pleased our paths crossed.
