My daughter was transported to Hackensack-Meridian Ocean Medical Center after a car accident. The paperwork from the Emergency Department and the Emerg Room Dr and PA all said she MUST follow up with a supposed 'concussion specialist'. I was with my daughter when we contacted this specific 'doctor', actually a psych therapist. There was a 'MD' after her name from the Hackensack-Meridian paperwork. She only has a 'psy.d' degree. This hospital referred me to a congenital liar: 1. She falsely claimed she was officially part of Hackensack Meridian Ocean Medical Center, when she is in private practice for herself. 2. She falsely claimed she was the ONLY concussion specialist in "4 counties", when there has been such a doctor literally down the street from her Brick office for about 20 years. 3. Without examining my daughter, or even obtaining her full medical history she told her she can drive, didn't need any specific precautions like if she was safe to drink even a glass of wine), and… needed to see "right away" a specific chiropractor and a specific lawyer she picked out for us. Then when we went over the car insurance, she said "We aren't providers for the health plan you chose for your daughter, so we won't be able to help your daughter, unless you pay out of pocket and have your lawyer sign a 'letter of protection' to pay for all services." My daughter and I were in tears. We just wanted help and medical advice. She insisted that Hacksensack-Meridian sent us-only and specifically to her-as the ONLY local 'concussion specialist'. She said "I wish I could help.", and hung up. We frantically called my daughter's PCP and found a local specialist less than a half mile from this woman's office! My daughter, believing this Kristine Keane, went back to college and driving. She nearly got into a head on crash because her attention span was so seriously impaired. She has since had to drop out of school due to failed grades caused by serious memory problems and headaches-again based on false and dangerous information from this congenital liar. Our family always trusted Ocean Medical Center and thought the Hackensack-Meridian hospital system was spectacular. They let us down and endangered my daughter as much as this phony therapist did.

I was pretty badly injured in a recent car accident. For some God awful reason my lawyer thought it would be just great to send me to a psychologist he "worked with". Bad mistake. This Ms. Keane turned out to be a totally incompetent and untruthful swindler. Not only didn't I ever get the care I desperately needed for my concussion, she royally screwed up my legal case and falsely billed my insurance company! I since dropped that lawyer and his friend, Ms. Keane and found better help elsewhere

Here's the synposis: Our daughter was rushed to Southern Ocean Medical Center after getting a concussion. The hospital, without our knowledge or consent, had this Ms. Keane contact us regarding "concussion management" after our daughter was discharged. The wonderful emergency room doctors gave our daughter an absolutely clean bill of health. This couples counselor (we found out that is what she really is!) told us that Southern Ocean Medical Center and its emergency room doctors "made a serious and dangerous mistake and could be sued" because our daughter was much more seriously brain injured. We didn't know what she was talikg about but got very frightened. She then pushed and pushed us to pay out of pocket for extremely expensive tests and care that the pediatrician told us was completely unnecessary and and that we were being cruelly deceived by some money hungry odd ball. Don't be taken advantage by this con woman! We will never go back to that hospital as long as she is there.
