Dr. Kristine Marie Lohr, MD

Dr Lohr is a no nonsense professional healthcare provider. I appreciate the time she gives to me during my appointments. She has truly helped me to understand my illness; things I can do without medicine and lifestyle change. When pharma meds are introduced she explains what and why in addition. I will never go to another rhummy as long as she is practicing. I truly appreciate her.

Dr. Lohr is very nice and good at what she does...it's a shame that the office staff is incompetent. I arrived on time for my appointment, sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes...when they finally called me they said Dr. Lohr wouldn't have time to see me because I was late. I told the receptionist that I was here, and she responded "well, I didn't see you walk in". Another staff member in the reception area had to vouch for me and say that I had been on time and was in the waiting room for 20 mintues. My information was even on the sign in sheet and everything. Ridiculous. Unfortunatley, this isn't the first time. At my initial visit they were running 30 minutes behind, took me back to a room, where I waited another 20 minutes. Another visit I sat in the room for 20 minutes after I met with Dr. Lohr waiting for a prescription...and her assistant had gone to lunch. I had to open the door and stick my head into the back room to find someone to do it.They ask patients to submit… refill requests via the pharmacy, but then they say they didn't receive a fax. They loose more paperwork like that than any other medical facility I have been to. I even went so far as to request fax confirmations from my pharmacy that shows the time/date/fax number sent to, and they are always sent to the right place. There have been times when I have run out of medication because I didn't follow up on them about a refill request...and of course they claim they didn't receive it...which I know is not true, someone just misplaced it.I decided I am going to continue to fly back to where I used to live and keep seeing that doctor once a quarter. Avoid it!
