I was 10 minutes late and was told I couldn't see Dr.Ortega. No-one never told me After your appointment time the Dr wouldn't see me.The front desk was so rude and wouldn't tell me anything just look at me and stare.It was 3 oclock and no-one in the waiting room,I asked to speak to the Dr.and they didn't even answer me Just stared at me.I don't need to be treated like this so guess I have one choice.Treat people like you would like to be treated and life can be happier for everyone.

I had a new appointment with Dr. Ortega today at 8:20 that I had waited 3-4 months for. I got a text early this morning with appointment time and please arrive 30 minutes early...thanks for the advance notice, right? I arrived 20 minutes early and was told I'd have to reschedule bc I didn't arrive 30 minutes early. Needless to say, I did not reschedule. I could understand if I was late, but I wasn't, and I wasn't told that my appointment would be canceled if I wasn't 30 minutes early. Why have an appointment time if you need to be that early? And unless I had gotten a message or a letter prior to the appointment stating my appointment would be canceled, I think this is poor business practices. Really sad!

I've only recently started using Dr Ortega, and I have very pleased. Her staff is very pleasant and she, herself, very punctual. I have recommended her to others looking for a new PCM.

Love Dr. Ortega's attention to detail on every aspect of treatment and follow-up care. Does not order unnecessary tests or procedures as many physicians do. Enjoy the professionalism and friendliness of her office staff as well.

I had my first visit with Dr. Ortega and I am very pleased with her. She was very pleasant and was very interested in my past history of my health. Looking forward to a long doctor-patient relationship with her.

told the doctor she gave me the wrong prescription strength on several meds. told me to look on bottle and call her. i said why just look in the medical record

WENT TO HER AS SHE WAS NEW DOCTOR IN TOWN AND MY DOCTOR HAD RETIRED.AT FIRST SHE WAS NICE AND WROTE PRESCRIPTION FOR PAIN MEDICATION AS WELL AS BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION. WHEN I TOLD HER I DID NOT LIKE TAKING SO MUCH MEDICATION SHE ONLY INCREASED THE LORTAB FROM 5MG. TO 7.5 THEN UP TO 10 MILGRA. WHEN I ASK HER ABOUT THE PATCH SHE REFURCED ENEN THRU ANOTHER DR. HAD SUJCEPTED IT. SHE GAVE ME A DIFFERENT PAIN MEDICATION . WHEN I RAN WITH OUT I CALLED HER OFFICE FOR A REFILL BECAUSE PRIOR EXPERCENCER ON ANY MADICATION YOU HAD TO WAIT AT LEAST 3 TO 5 DAY FOR A RETURN CALL. LAST WEEK I RECEIVED A BILL WHICH SHOWED HER CHARGE OF 250.00 PER OFFICE VISIT AND AFTER MY INSURANCE HAD PAIDED, MY PART WAS 125.00. SO EACH OFFICE VISIT THAT IS WHAT I AM BILLED. I HAVE BLUE CROSS C PLUS AND MEDICARE.. HER NURSE CALLED ME BACK THIS A.M. AFTER 6 DAYS WITH NO RETURN CALL AND SAID HER POLICY IS NO REFILL UNLESS YOU COME IN ON CERTAIN MEDICATION.THAT MEAN THAT I HAVE TO GO ONCE A MONTH JUST FOR HER TO WRITE… PRESCRIPTION. THIS IS JUST NOT RIGHT.OVERALL RATING POOR.
