Dr. Kristine Marie Zanotti, MD

Dr. Zanotti and her team aren’t the best. Never call you back, and when you call for the second time with her schedule lady Mia you get an attitude. I didn’t get the correct prescriptions because Dr. Zanotti didn’t send the right code over for the pharmacy. My surgery...they told me to be there at 7am for a 9am procedure. I didn’t get my surgery until after 2:30pm. I received one update while waiting in the pre surgery room. When they sent me home they told me I had to call and make and appointment two weeks after my surgery. When I called I was told it was already scheduled and acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about, or I didn’t listen. I just never felt like I mattered I was just another patient and had no compassion, or even a nice attitude during the entire start to finish of my condition. If I were you reading this, pick another doctor.

My first consult with her. I was there 3 hours. Two hours in the waiting room and 1 hour sitting back in a exam room waiting for her to show up. My first impression of her wasn't a very good one but figured she had a really bad day. We discussed my treatment plan...I asked questions and was told visit one that we would revisit a treatment once they treated a node with chemo and radiation . I was set up for chemo and radiation to which I did and completed what was outlined for me. I was given a schedule to which I followed. After treatment ended. I thought I was done, then she scheduled me for another chemo appt 2 weeks later without consulting me, explanation as to why . Appt was just set up for me. ( now during this time as I am a diabetic and treated with steroids which blows up your sugars I was running in the 500 and 600 at home which could have caused me to go into a diabetic coma) she couldn't make time to see me, call me although her staff was told to relay this information to… her..I also called to relay this information. (she only works in Westlake 1 day a week) I was in that building every single day Monday- Friday. On my second to last chemo appt I spoke with the radiation nurse and explained that I would like to see her even if I had to set up an appointment and pay to speak with her to revisit this treatment we had spoke about on visit 1. I was told by the nurse that she would make a few minutes of her time that following Tuesday on my last chemo treatment to do this.That there was no need too set up an appointment to do so. Instead she sent her nurse. The discussion I wanted to talk to her about was the next step in my treatment which was internal radiation and a possible different treatment that we were suppose to revisit. The nurse showed up ( no point in discussing that with her nurse since she isn't a Doctor to inquire about this). But instead I feel like I was forced into a treatment I really didn't want had I had other options. I really had no choice. It's not like you can switch Doctors mid treatment. My entire treatment when it came to her was frustration, being terrified, not heard which turned into a severe case of depression and treated in a sense like cattle. And what I mean by that is you are a patient chart and not even human. I seen this Dr exactly 3 times during treatment. Day 1 for a consult and setting up treatment Day 2 which was my first chemo treatment and day 3 of surgery for the treatment I really didn't want had I had other options. But we will never know if the other treatment was a option because she never made the time to revisit it or discuss it. I'm sure she is very knowledgeable . But she has no bed side manner, doesn't return phone calls, doesn't make time to see her patients. I switch Dr's after my treatment was done.I feel I have a better chance with a different Dr to live. I really wish I could rate her a zero... I really hope this review helps someone else.

Never returns phone calls and only sees patients once before pawning said patient off on on another doctor. Tried 4 times, left 4 messages over a weeks time and never received a phone call back. I guess the treatment of a patient takes second place to other opportunities.

Dr Zannoti spent time making sure I understood the details of the surgery and was very thorough before and after the surgery. I would highly recommend her

Dr. Z. wasn't my moms regular doctor but had to visit her in the hospital when her doctor was out of town. I found Dr. Z. very rude and condescending to my mother. She answered my mothers questions (she had a lot) but was backing out of the room the entire time. My mom didn't understand some things and Dr. Z. told me "you need to talk to your mother". She also told my mom, "no matter how many times you ask the same questions, you will get the same answers. You can only beat a dead horse so much" when she left the room, my daughter turned to me (she was 12) and said she didn't like her. Kids are usually a pretty good judge of charector. My mom was quite for a little while and then turned to me, and asked me if she thought she upset the doctor for asking too many questions. She definilty is lacking bedside manner for patients who aren't her regular patients. A doctor should never leave the patient not understanding what they just said. She also spoke to my mother on another occasion… without any other family members in the room, it was a very upsetting conversation (telling my mother she had a small chance of survival) she then left her alone in the hospital room to think about what she just said to her. . No bedside manner!!

My experience with Dr. Zanotti was a very positive one. She was warm, kind and considerate. She took time to explain what she had seen on my CT Scan and what the procedure should be. She answered questions that I had and also explained an alternative procedure which may have to be taken once the surgery had started. The day of surgery she explained in detail to my son and best friend the procedure. Dr Zanotti followed up on my progress at the hospital and in every conversation she explained things in laymen's terms that was very understandable. She is a very caring person that does take time to explain and made me feel so comfortable having her for my doctor. From my experience, I would certainly recommend her.

Wait time is 2 hours at least. Sometimes longer with out apoggy. Then she rushes the time with patient.
