Dr. Kristopher Robert Crawford, MD

My 83 year old mother went to the ER in extreme pain after a bad fall. She broke 6 ribs! While in ER Dr Crawford refused to admit her! All of the other staff were very upset by this since it was clear to everyone she needed to be admitted! I didn’t initially know his name but when I tell other staff from this hospital that this Doctor has a “God Complex”, without hearing his name, they immediately say they know exactly who I am referring to! She was literally screaming in pain! He wanted to send her home with a paper prescription for pain meds, that I wouldn’t have been able to fill until morning! She was unable to even get off the stretcher in the ER! A charge nurse finally found her a room, he still didn’t want to admit her because as he put it, he was in charge! My dear mother after experiencing this horrible man and his poor judgement, died two days later! I now take care of my father without her. I am terrified that if I ever have to take him to the ER he will have this doctor! I… don’t know why he still works there! He made my mother so miserable and she was begging him to let her stay! He finally agreed to admit her, “against his better judgment “. Once she got on the floor and she no longer was under his care, her next doctor and the rest of the staff was incredulous that he would even consider sending her home! I will never forget that her last couple of days on this earth were made so much worse by this incompetent man with no business being around patients!
