In a possibly life threatening emergency Dr. Sekar squeezed me in when no one else would. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She devoted a great deal of time listening and answering all questions. Not only did she direct me to the correct specialists but she and her staff continuously followed up to see that I was getting the care that was needed. I’m very grateful to her and her staff for the care that I was and continue to be given.

I cannot say more about Dr. Sekar as a provider and a human being. She is clearly an expert in her field, approaches medicine with humility, and has always showed genuine care about me and my health. She takes my concerns seriously, but is also not alarmist. Neurology is lucky to have her.

Dr. Sekar is the BEST! My daughter sees her and she is not only knowledgeable in her field, but a kind, caring, and thorough doctor as well. Dr. Sekar took on my other daughter as a patient when she received concerning test results. She immediately reassured us and followed up with other tests for an accurate diagnosis. One of the best doctors we have ever seen. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer friends and family to such an amazing physician.

Terrible experience, do yourself a favor and find another doctor. I waited three months to see Dr. Sekar and was cancelled on a few days before the appointment, I called back to reschedule and had to follow up multiple times with her team to get an appointment rescheduled that was another three months later. I then waited those additional three months, and when arriving the morning of the appointment I was informed the appointment time has been mischeduled to an hour later than I had been told, which conflicted with my work schedule. Even after showing the staff evidence of the original appointment time, when they communicated with the doctor she refused any other accomodations other than meeting an additional three months out from that date, even though the wrong scheduling time was through the fault of her own staff. If this is the kind of patient experience at the outset, I would not trust this doctor or her team in providing any reasonable quality of care.
