Dr. Kriti Kumari, MD

I was under Dr. Kriti Kumari’s care at the Ocala VA for four years, and my experience was consistently disappointing. She not only failed to listen to my concerns, but often made me feel dismissed and unimportant. Her approach felt cold and indifferent, and I never felt like she truly cared about improving my quality of life. Despite serious side effects from a prescribed medication—including memory issues—she refused to try anything else or acknowledge that there were other options. I was left to deal with worsening symptoms on my own. It wasn’t until I switched providers that I learned there were safer, more effective alternatives available the entire time. When my foot became paralyzed after a back injury, she downplayed it and offered no meaningful support. Even worse, she prescribed the wrong medication just one week after my spinal fusion surgery, which caused the procedure to fail. I would not recommend Dr. Kumari to any veteran, especially those with chronic or complex… issues. Veterans deserve doctors who actually care.

She was great when I start with her many yrs. ago but as her Patient load grew she spent less time. She had me on about 13 pills and when I questioned her she kept saying you need them. She discharged me and her office manager (Dan Kitchen) has yet to this day call me back. Her asst. could at times be very short with the patient.

Excellent first visit experience, Dr. fit me into busy schedule due to emergent problem. Cancelled later appointment, combined my emergent problem with intake visit, avoiding extra cost and time for me. Very pleased and impressed, Dr. Kumari is my new primary...

She is a HORRIBLE Dr. You cannot trust her with your health. Run as fast as you can to another Dr.!!!!!

Dr. Kumari was very thoughtful and caring; spent quality time with me and the follow up appointment was the same. I have some complicated health issues to address and control and I will enjoy working with Dr. Kumari.

i am most most disappointed in her professionalism, her lack of concern for doing the right thing for my elderly mother. very very very disappointing !!!!!! She did not look me the eyes upon introduction... allowed my elderly mother to get off the examining room table by herself, where she almost fell as the Doctor turned her back on her.

I was upset because she refused to talk about adjusting a medication dose that would have put my thyroid levels more in the middle range instead of the lower range. She dismissed me, walked out of the room and did not return. She didn't address my other concerns including abdominal pain.
