Kshama Bhyravabhotla, MD

Kshama Bhyravabhotla, MD, is a pulmonary, sleep medicine, and critical care physician with Hamilton Physician Group – Specialty Care and Hamilton Medical Center. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lung and respiratory conditions, sleep disorders and complex illnesses requiring critical care.
Dr. Bhyravabhotla earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She went on to complete a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
Her advanced training allows her to care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary and sleep-related conditions, while bringing experience in critical care medicine to patients with serious and complex illnesses.

“I’m a big believer in shared decision-making,” Dr. Bhyravabhotla says. “It’s my job to explain the best course of action medically and based on the evidence, but it’s also my job to listen to a patient’s concerns and, whenever possible, come up with a treatment plan that works for both of us.”
Dr. Bhyravabhotla is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She provides pulmonary and sleep medicine care for patients in Dalton and throughout Northwest Georgia.
