Dr. Kuchipudi Bapineedu, MD

This is a very long overdue review (incident occurred ‘13) Dr Bapineedu was called in to the ER and was the ONLY Dr that ever followed up. He stopped in to my husband’s room every so often to check and see how my he was doing. I was grateful for his genuine concern.

I spent several days in excruciating pain. When i ways admitted to the hospiral it was determined that I had diviticulitis with an abcess that was leaking. Needing surgery i had to make a choice between Dr. Bapineedu who could oerform the surgery laparoscopically or my previous gastro doctor or could not. After being explained my choices, along with the risks involved, i decided to go with Dr. Bapineedu and was not disappointed. He checked in with me every day and even gave me his cell phone number should I have any questions. I would definently recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr. Bapineedu took a minor hernia repair that I was told would take 6-8 weeks to recover from and turned it into an 8 month (and counting) ordeal. He used metal, non-disolvable tacks, which I have been told by other doctors is a very old method of treating a hernia. This has caused me pain since the operation and has greatly limited my usual active lifestyle. I have since developed another hernia which my new doctor partially blames on my extremely slow recovery time and lack of instructions from Dr. Bapineedu Do not make the same mistake I did.

This man has horrible bedside manner and treats his patients as walking cash machines. He was extremely rude with me when asking simple questions and I will never go to him again!
