Dr. Kuldip Kumar Kaul, MD

Poor service, like we have never seen! Phone system is not working, mailbox is always full, office outdated, little time spent with patient, no direct eye contact…. Will be changing to another doctor. Everyone gives excuses.

This man (I say man because I have the utmost respect for doctors but I don't have any respect for him). He is truly the most arrogant physician I have seen. He has no bedside manner. Doesn't mind making you wait for hours to see him but you better not be late for an appointment. The way he talks to people is deplorable

Dr. Kaul may be a good endocrinologist for the most common types of diabetes, but I don't think he is knowledgeable about genetic forms of diabetes. He assumed my daughter was obese (which she is not) when I told him she was diagnosed with MODY, a genetic form of diabetes. He did not seem interested in considering whether or not I have MODY, but was unsure why my honeymoon period after being diagnosed with LADA type 1 is so long. He recommended I get off insulin and see what happens. On one occasion, upon greeting me at an office visit, he offered to put me on birth control to clear up my facial blemishes. I wasn't wearing make-up and I had a few breakouts, but I wasn't self-conscious about it. I had not even mentioned it to him. He brought it up. I think he assumed I was self-conscious about facial blemishes. It's not a huge ordeal. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I wish he was more knowledgeable about MODY and I would appreciate it if he stopped making assumptions. The… nurses are kind. The office staff are neither rude nor friendly. They don't appear very happy to work there, though.

I called the office today because my husband was experiencing sugar level swings and confusion. I need guidance. The woman who answered said "we're only nurses and can't give information". Didn't offer to have the dr call. On my husbands last appointment, Dr kaul was preoccupied and didn't listen or pay attention to him. He just checked his a1c and sent him on his way. I wouldn't send my dog to see him.

I can't believe this dr is in practice. His rude and spends little time with you. He looks down on patients that are over weight. He even called my mother in law lazy.

If you want an arrogant doctor who doesn't do much but look at your chart, then go for this doctor. Only spends about 10 minutes with you and only looks at chart. Very rude and arrogant. Would not recommend.

This was my first appointment with Dr.Kaul. I drove over an hour to see him as he was the only one who was on my insurance plan. I arrived on time and filled out my paperwork. You don't get enjoyment out of going to the Dr. but when you do, you look for it to be a positive experience. When I was called back the medical assistant weighed me and took me to my room. I asked her if the Dr. had a questionnaire to help in diagnosing me. This is pretty common when diagnosing a problem and I was told no but then she had only been there 3 weeks. I asked how well she liked the Dr. and she just smiled and said wait and see. She knew what I was in for! This man was horrid and aside from the need to have a job and feed her family I can't imagine anyone wanting to work for an arrogant and hostile man who truly lacks in compassion or concern. He doesn't know how to speak to you but shouts and makes you feel like a dog with it's tail tucked between its legs. I don't feel he listened to me at all and… my medical concerns were not addressed. Aside from the order for labs that was the extent of our visit. I believe I at least deserve 5 minutes of his time. Not rushed. My health is important as is anyone else who comes to his office. I was herded out like cattle. Upon checkout I inquired about my test/lab results and was told I would have to come back. As a patient I am entitled to my results but I certainly don't intend to drive an hour to meet with this physician again. He may be a Dr by profession but he needs sensitivity training.

I saw him today and I thought he was excellent! He was caring and understanding. I felt really comfortable. He knows his information. I was very pleased. I worked in the Medical field and this office was organized, clean, and the staff was so caring polite.

Having your blood pressure taken while he shouts at you demanding you justify your opinions. Writing non-refill prescriptions to try to force you into more visits. Totally ignoring written and verbal instructions and information. Ignoring written instructions not to share data or post it on the internet. When asked for information about medication side effects he fails to tell you any of the serious ones. Being prescribed blood pressure medication when you do not have high blood pressure.

I was diagnosed as a diabetic over 20 years ago at a very young age. It wasn't common back then and in my family no one had it. I was diagnosed by Dr. Kaul but soon stopped going to him (actually, any doctor) because of his lack of basic human compassion. My parents called in for an emergency refill after I broke my bottle of insulin. 5 hours later, they still didn't get a call back. When they finally did, they told my parents I had to come in to be seen first. My father was livid. I had to have insulin that night! After a lot of arguing they finally filled it. Then I went in for a visit. I went into the back alone and as soon as he came in, he started to get angry at me and blame me that my father yelled at his staff. I was a child who had no idea that her dad had yelled at anyone to get a prescription filled. Needless to say, I refused to go back and my parents were frustrated with me. Even today, I have a hard time trusting doctors.
