Dr. Sachar is dedicated to physician and medical professional education. He has served as an Associate Editor for the prestigious Journal of Hand Surgery since 2001. He has given numerous invited national and local presentations. Recent national conferences include lectures at " The Comprehensive Review Course in Hand Surgery " in Chicago, Illinois and lectures at the "AO Hand and Upper Extremity Course" in Phoenix, Arizona. He has additionally given Instructional Course Lectures at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting on the topics "Flexor Tendon Injuries" and " Ulnar Sided Wrist Pain." Dr. Sachar recently published an article in the Journal of Hand Surgery entitled:" Ulnar Sided Wrist Pain: Evaluation and Treatment of TFCC tears, Ulnocarpal Impaction Syndrome and LT Ligament Tears." He has numerous other publications in peer review journals. Dr. Sachar's special interests include Sports related injuries, Elbow arthroscopy, Elbow replacement and reconstruction …(" Tommy John" surgery), fractures of the distal radius and hand, carpal tunnel syndrome, and complex reconstructive upper extremity conditions.

Dr Sachar took the time to consider a complicated history and vowed to figure out the problem and expedited my care. I’ve spent the previous month being referred around to different specialist. I really appreciated Dr Sachar taking ownership and probably saving my hand.

I fell on the ice and shattered my wrist. Dr Sachar and his team of determined, caring professionals have taken such good care of me! I got an appointment with Dr Sachar on the same day I made my initial call to his office. Dr Sachar performed my surgery the next day. His people worked out every detail with the hospital and my insurance company so that I could be in that operating room the next day with him having the surgery I needed to heal properly. Before the surgery, my wrist hung loosely at the end of my arm and I wondered if I would ever be "whole" again. After the surgery, my pain was minimal (Tylenol was all I needed) and my arm and wrist felt like they were a unit again. I still have a few weeks of healing ahead of me but I am so encouraged to do what I need to do keep healing. This is an excellent hand surgeon who has chosen a team of qualified, compassionate people to stand with him. They all have my whole-hearted recommendation.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Sachar and I felt like I’d known him for years. He patiently explained the issue I’ve had with my hand and a clear path forward to fix it.

This guys is a QUACK!!!! After 4 visits in 3 months & over $1000 in copays, could not tell me what was wrong with my wrist. He kept demanding I get a MRI, which I could not afford. Went to a real Orthopedic hand surgeon who told me after 1 X ray I had a SLIL tear in my wrist requiring surgery. DO NOT GO SEE THIS QUACK!!!
