I was referred for a baseline colonoscopy due to family history. The office personnel are friendly and competent and Dr. Ped is caring and explained everything. The procedure went well and there was great follow up after procedure. I received a letter with results and they will follow up for another colonoscopy in 5 years. I recommend him

I have been seeing Dr. Kumara for several years. He has always been compassionate, soft-spoken, never abrasive, professional, and will spend time with you to listen in order to make a sound diagnosis. I spent lots of time and money going to all sorts of doctors who couldn't diagnose my problem for months, until I found my way into Dr. Kumara's office (in my late 30's), who seemed to know right away what was going on. While other doctors were trying to suggest I was crazy or ruling out problems after problems, he knew what the problem was. He knew, I knew something was going on. Who else knows our own bodies, better than ourselves. Yes, he is difficult to get into, and yes sometimes you have to wait. He is a good doctor, who is in higher demand and who only wants to make sure he helps you, and sometimes that means more time with patients, double booking, etc. I highly recommend him, but if you are in a hurry to get seen, probably wont happen here.
