Dr. Kumaran Kondath Mohan, MD

I've been going to Dr. Mohan for 8 years now for inflammatory arthritis and thyroid disease. I feel he is an attentive listener and takes the time necessary to work out an agreeable treatment plan. He continually researches illness and the latest treatments. He is very friendly and doesn't hesitate to refer me to a specialist if needed. His wife runs the office and is always on top of things and calls back when she says she will. She is very very busy so no time for chit chat, but will stop to laugh with me occasionally. I intend on keeping Dr. Mohan as my Primary physician for the long term as I feel well cared for. It's kind of a pain that he insists on quarterly blood work and visits, but at least I know he will catch any problems early on.

He is a fine man dedicated to his profession and patients. Detail is a natural part of his practice. This man has changed my life and perhaps even saved it.

Dr. Mohan, is very caring doctor who takes time with you and explains everything . He has a wonderful bedside manner and goes above and beyond to give you the best possible care. He is the best family doctor I have ever had. He is very concerned about keep you healthy.

My husband, two sons, and I have been Dr. Mohan's patients for 10 years. He is methodical and precise. He is also medically conservative-- that is, he recommends simple and effective nonprescription remedies when appropriate. He also will order tests if a major illness is suspected, but he doesn't over-react. He also cares for his patients. I called him on a Saturday not long ago when we suspected my son had a spider bite. He told my son to come to his office and he saw him that Saturday, prescribed appropriate treatment, and helped prevent what could have been a major illness. I also saw Dr. Mohan when I had a throbbing ear ache. He wouldn't prescribe antibiotics because he didn't think I had an infection. (I know other doctors that would have done so!) Instead, he gave me instructions on how to treat the earache, using OTC medication and patience. It worked!
