The procedure Sood did on my mother's spine fractured another vertebrae. It is one of the risks of the surgery, which we signed off on because he has a good record and there is a large success rate of the procedure. But the worst part of this practice are many phone menu options that contain more menu options. An advocate for the patient needs to leave messages in multiple places and call back times range from two days to never. Many of the staff are nice at first, but you are expected to provide fax numbers for places the doctor's order needs to go, and if you make a mistake or there is miscommunication, there a few that have the verbal skills or emotional intelligence to handle people trying to navigate the terrible health care system we are all in. I am an extremely patient individual who works in a therapeutic field, but I often got the feeling that they are either stretched too thin or can not be bothered. It has been maddening trying to get the doctor's CAT scan order sent… to an imaging center.

Dr. Sood is great, easy to talk to and understands. He is so smart and informative and great at explaining these treatments to me in terms i can actually understand.
