Dr. Kurt Allen Anderson, MD

Refered to Dr Anderson for 2nd opinion regarding numbness in my right hand. Dr Anderson listened to my concerns and my past history and laid out a plan to move forward. Was very pleased with the visit & Dr Anderson's approach to my problem.

I had two sergeries with Dr. Anderson wrist fusion and carpal tunnel release surgeries. Dr. Anderson explained in detail about them and after care. Dr Anderson and his staff were incredibly kind, caring, and competent people, so I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a surgery. Doctors like Dr. Anderson is hard to find and I am grateful for him being my surgeon.

Apart from the fact that I broke my thumb, which was painful, this was a great experience. Dr. Anderson's assistant Caroline is briskly professional and highly competent, and also friendly and humane. I had a pretty serious break which I tried to take care of myself, not realizing how bad it was. When I finally went in to see the Doctor, he immediately scheduled surgery for the following day. My treatment was focused, compassionate, effective, and productive, and in four months my thumb is on the way to being good as new. I recommend Dr. Anderson and his team with complete confidence.

Replaced two ligaments in my left elbow, after my Original Equipment ligaments become floppy and loose (multiple dislocations over multiple years). An unusual surgery, Dr. Anderson and the staff at Proliance did an expert job. Smooth recovery aided and abetted by an excellent physical therapist (Rod). With a great local coffee stand in the lobby, I couldn't ask for more!

I had a crushing break of both the radius and ulna of my right hand. I am right handed. The emergency room could not set the break sufficiently and referred me to Dr. Anderson for follow up. After reviewing my injury and x-rays, Dr. Anderson explained that he would need to insert a plate, screws, pins and reset my wrist in surgery for me to regain use. The surgery was successful, but recuperation was tough. After "graduating" from from occupational therapy with Rodd Kiliany, I continued my stretching and strength exercises, but eventually decided to follow up with Dr. Anderson again, as strength and mobility in my hand and wrist peaked below the expected outcome and eventually began to deteriorate. Upon listening to my explanation, reviewing additional x-rays, and examining my wrist, Dr. Anderson recommended an additional surgery to remove the hardware. The hardware was meant to remain permanently in place, but my tendons were being irritated by constant friction and removal was the… answer. One month post op, I am 100%. Strength and mobility have returned and the pain I had with the hardware is gone. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Dr. Kurt Anderson, Rodd Kiliany and all the knowledgeable staff at Proliance Hand, Wrist and Elbow.

I was referred to Dr. Kurt Anderson by another Proliance doctor due to the complexity of the work needed. Dr Anderson was compassionate and caring every step of the way. He took the time to order the necessary x-rays, MRI's and other testing needed to effectively treat all my injuries. He was very patient with me and explained what to expect every step of the way. I had a torn ligament from a skiing injury. Dr. Anderson explained what I needed to get out of pain and regain full function of my thumb. He discussed my options and suggested surgery. I was impressed with his explanation and delivery as to what he would do to relieve my pain. His credentials, ability and experience along with his patience in explaining the procedure were instrumental in choosing him to perform the surgery. I am now 95% back to full function and am completely out of pain. I expect the last bit will be accomplished when I complete the physical therapy (Kristin is also amazing). I am looking forward to being able to ski again next winter. Dr. Anderson was caring and very attentive - the best, I highly recommend him!! I will be forever thankful! He should be extremely proud of his expertise, conscientiousness, and total dedication to his patience and staff.
