Thorough, smart and very thoughtful. Great bedside manner. My wife has lots of medical issues and was real sick so we was sent to Vanderbilt. Dr Diettrick took time to explain things to us. This relaxed her good. The surgery was a long one. All day. She was home in a few days. No problems. We just want to say thank you to him for caring for her and getting her through this surgery.

Recently, Dr Dittrick took care of a very sick family member. We were all super nervous with anxiety regarding her age, several chronic illnesses and big surgery she was having. Dr Dittrick got her through this difficult surgery and she did great. Thank you.

I have had chronic pain for 16 years and have been to many pain doctors over the years. IMHO, Dr Dittrich is the best. They tell me that he out sick. Sending prayers..We need more doctors like him. He targeted my pain without pumping me full of narcotics.

I just heard he has been out sick with cancer. I hope I get the chance to tell him how much he helped me a couple years ago. I didn't return because I was pain free. He fixed it. Thank you Dr Dittrich

He treated my sons pain while getting him off of narcotic pain pills. I believe that he saved my sons life. Other doctors were just feeding my son deadly pain pills. Thank you.

People either love Dr Dittrich or they don't. He doesn't freely prescribe pain pills but instead tries to target the source of pain. I would bet anyone giving him an unfavorable rating just didn't like it when he would not write pain pills for a condition he felt did not require them. For those of us who don't want pain pills and don't want pain, we are so thankful there are doctors like him.
