Dr. Kurt Van Gold, MD

I saw Dr Gold because of a condition I have called Adhesive Arachnoiditis. Even he referred to it as a “suicidal condition “. I brought to him some facts from a Top dr that followed a certain protocol. I wanted to use it and he agreed to it. However, within 3 visits, he decided he did not want me to follow the protocol and never told me. And would not address it. Instead, I had a brain mri searching for MS. A shoe store because I have a Morton’s neuroma. Nothing to address my AA.Absolutely nothing. I decided driving 6 hours for the appointment was ridiculous. I was not receiving care for my condition. He could not keep information straight. I waited hours to see him waiting for HOPE. I’m in horrific pain and he would not address it. Then he sends me a terrible email inappropriate for a dr to say to a patient because I wrote him a letter stating why I’m not returning. I do not recommend this Dr to anyone. He’s a pediatrician & an addictionist ? What on earth was I thinking.

12 years of care. The best bedside manner, I’ve ever experienced. His commitment to the best care possible. The path of a “better life quality” is paramount. He helps sets workable goals. He is sympathetic to your health needs. Physical and emotionally. He offers step by step goals, you can improve your daily life. Changes for the positive your family and friends will notice and share exciting care and improvements. He has been with me step by step care and encouragement. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful Christian Physician. Highly recommend him and his staff.

His treatments gave me a new lease on life .... I highly recommend him for any bodily problems or to stop opioid usage ....

By nature, many chronic pain patients are put through the ringer when it comes to finding a great doctor who will help, but Dr. Gold takes the cake for the worst physician I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. In my opinion, he shouldn’t be practicing. He was incredibly unprofessional—making inappropriate comments—and after over three hours in his 78 degree office, he sent us on our way with zero answers, a highly questionable new diagnosis and darn near heat stroke. He was constantly in and out of the room, had patients just walking around, took personal phone calls wherein I could hear (what should be) protected private patient information, and he yanked and pulled on me on multiple occasions—causing me severe pain, bordering on torture. Steer clear. I can’t find one redeeming quality about this guy. “Stand and be healed” is his trademark saying. He’s not God, no matter what he believes in his own mind.

He is an amazing caring doctor who loves his patients and treats you like your human! I would definitely recommend him to family and friends . Thanks Dr Gold your a once in a life time find. No wonder the wait time is so long he is in high demand and spends time with his patients not just a name on a board or another slot to fill!!!

Dr. Gold is very kind and gentle. His approach to medicine is a holistic one, he tries natural cures over medication if possible. This irritates the drug users, hence the negative revues. He spends quality time with his patience, which is why he is always running behind schedule. He could be like every other doctor and push you out the door after 15 minutes. Ni would recommend Dr. Gold to everyone

Dr Gold has been my Pain Dr for several years, and I must say he truly is the best of the Midwest here in NE. He has diagnosed right on almost every year, because my pain doesn't go away but your body does change as we get older, and I just love his bed side manner as far as being very personable and direct!!! I would suggest him any day/time of the week.

Dr. Gold is a compassionate, kind, intelligent, funny, spiritual and wonderful Dr. He has changed my life treating my pain so that I now have quality of life. He understands your pain and doesn't treat you as a criminal or less than because you need to take pain meds as so many other Dr.'s do. His ONLY negative is his poor staff who are both unprofessional and worthless. You do wait to see him but it's because he spends the time you need to get the help you deserve. For those that complain about the wait, would you rather he pushed you in and out like cattle so he could be prompt? And the staffing is being addressed.

Dr. Gold is an excellent caring doctor. The only complaint I have is trying to get a message to him via the office staff, sometimes it can be difficult.
