Dr Kurt Muetterties, MD

Dr. Muetterties and his team did a thorough ultrasound assessment of my vein issues. He took time to carefully explain what they found, answering questions I had and supplying questions that I should have asked. He pleasantly explained the potential courses of treatment with the pros and cons of each. It was a pleasant experience where I felt heard and valued.

My impression of Dr. Muetterties was positive during my initial evaluation, he seemed thorough and took time to explain his treatment approach for management of my spider veins. I received injections, wore compression stockings x 1wk, and scheduled a 4 week follow up at his recommendations for additional injection treatments. At my 8am (first appointment) follow up, he ran 40 mins behind, came unprepared into the room, asking all of the same medical history questions and requiring prompting from me to compare initial visit photos with present day. Dr. Muetterties was indecisive about treatment options and is deficient in his ability to collaborate with his clients regarding a plan of care. I do not recommend Dr. Muetterties for vascular treatment.

I am very pleased to comment on my experience at the Vein Center at Brinton Lake. At first I was a little hesitant but after my initial consultation I knew the Southeast physciains were a premier group. The doctors were professional, knowledgeable, skilled and caring. The nurse and the technician excelled in patient care. They made sure I was comfortable both during and after the procedure. This procedure improves your health and your appearance, I am so happy I had it done!
