Dr. Kurt Douglas Spriggs, DO

I had a 2:20 appointment and waited until 3:35 before he saw me. I was out at 3:40. I was on the verge of walking out when he came in. Waited one hour and twenty minutes not counting time in waiting room for a five minute exam. In my opinion it was a waste of my time. So be prepared for a long wait.

Dr Spriggs is very belittling and cruel. He has a major superiority complex and has been cruel to many of my coworkers as well as me. Its a shame he has such knowledge but no love for humankind.

Went in for chest pains and he ordered a nuclear stress test. It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t gotten a call at all. I had to call and beg for a call back and got the nurse. She said the test results were ok which is great but I still have the pains and the dr hasn’t even followed up at all.

Dr Spriggs has taken care of me twice, one involved a hospital admission. He listens well and his care is excellent, as I am a former RN I can highly recommend him.

Dr springs is very cruel and belittles staff and other doctors and nurses.

Astute mind and experience that helps him clearly identify the issue and appropriately prescribe treatment. Outstanding and caring office personnel. While the Horizon office itself needs an update the care there is top notch. When I have a cardiac problem I feel relieved when Dr Spriggs arrives! He calmly fights for you when you can't fight for yourself!

I think Dr. Spriggs is a mean person. I take care of his patients, but he treats me like he hates me. He is always uncivil to me. I'm careful to choose my words when calling him, but no matter what I say, he turns the conversation into a belittlement of me as a person...nothing to do with the patient for which I'm calling to request help. Dr. Spriggs is the only thing I don't like about my job as a nurse. My co-workers all have horror stories of the offensive way he has treated them, but everyone is afraid to come forward or stand up for themselves..especially with this economy and the lack of jobs. No one doubts that he would try to take away their job (and ability to pay their mortgage or take care of their kids) if they refused to allow his abuse. This is only my comment, which I was invited to give. I don't state facts here, just my experience with Dr. Spriggs...a subjective opinion.
