Dr. Kurt Gerard Vernon, MD

Dr. Vernon took my calls as I was trying to get my mother to another hospital. She was sat in the waiting room in Clayton. She sat there a total of about 3 hours. A 72 year old with other health issues. When she got to Betsy Johnson hospital it was a very short time after a couple test were done Dr. Vernon showed up and she was taking to the operating room. My mom was bleeding into her belly. Thank you Dr. Vernon for saving her life

i thank God my son and daughter-in-law referred me to him. I moved here to live with them. He had a plan from Day 1 of my first appointment. He got me rolling on care for my hiatal hernia that began bleeding nearly 4 years ago. i was to have surgery but needed a manometry to see if my esophagus was normal to get the hernia repaired. He just got me to a hemoyolgist who gave me blood and got a port put in.!I have no veins so multiple sticks for IV was excrutiating. Dr. Verno. got things rolling. he chexked my xrays and labs. I can't thank hin enough. he is a God Send.

I was given a referral. I have uc and a huge hiatal hernia. I was reluctant to see any one different but moving here and living with my son here; It would be foolish not to have Dr.Vernon. He has helped me so very much. Now I have a primary docter here in Harnett Co.as well. I will be doing tests at Duke next month then praying for a great result. The surgery to fix the Cameron's ulcers. Thank God I found these great pyhsicians here in Harnette County.?

I waited for more than an hour and then the nurse took someone who had an appt after me first. Receptionist books two(2) patients at the same time-every 15 minutes-new and returning patients.

Dr.vernon is a caring and compassionate doctor he knows,his information, he's not a doctor who guesses he's one that I would say is the best,he at least sends time with you,and you feel like you have a doctor who's not just taking you're money but he is genuine,I thank God he is truly amazing.

Office scheduling and wait times are unacceptable

I am not a doctor kind of person. My initial visit with Dr. Vernon went well. He was very attentive and understanding of my issue. I since have had three procedures with him. His professionalism and personal care is wonderful. His staff is the very same. They are attentive and a joy to be around. I have never gone to a doctors office for a procedure and not had to wait....until now. I am amazed at how on schedule this office is and yet you don't feel rushed. I only wish other doctors could model this image. So impressed. (I put 5 min wait at the office...only because there was not a zero)

Dr. Vernon is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the best and caring doctors I have ever dealt with. He is very knowledgeable and caring. His staff is a mirror image of his ethics.

Dr. Vernon is a caring Doctor with a great bedside manner. Has good sense of humor which is important in times of stress.
