Dr. Kurt Alan Wiese, MD

Kurt Weise completely butchered me back in 1995 when I had my first child. He was partnered with Dr. Jeffrey Yessenow, who was my primary doctor, but was on vacation when I went into labor. My blood pressure was thru the roof (and was very high at my pre-delivery appointment with Weise, but he did nothing about it!). I ended up with pre-eclampsia during labor. After many, many hours on Petosin & Magnesium Sulfate, this butcher decided to do a cesarean on me. But not the NORMAL c-section, he put me under anesthesia, my husband could not be with me to see the birth of our son, and this guy cut my belly from my bellybutton to my lower abdomen VERTICALLY! My stomach, 30 years later looks like I was cut open with a piece of broken glass! During surgery, I bled out and ended up, post surgery needing a blood transfusion of 3 units. Even worse than all of the physical neglect this man thrust on me, his rude, callous, bed side manner made me feel like I did something wrong to cause all of… the complications he obviously did not know how to handle!! It has taken me thirty years to write this review about this totally inept, impatient, neglectful person that calls himself a doctor. Luckily my son was born healthy, but I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this man! If I could give him ZERO stars I would!

I have been seeing Dr. Wiese since 2012. He delivered my baby in 2013. He was extremely attentive to me post delivery, visiting 2 days in a row and just chatted with me to keep me company for a bit. He is a great doctor. Chill, laid back, funny, and not afraid to give you the straight dope. He is attentive, easy to get an appointment with, and as thorough as you need him to be. He's also one of the very few doctors that I've seen that I just wanted to come in and talk to about some options versus having to go through hoops and exams just for a conversation. I suffered with severe post partum bleeding for a year and Dr. Wiese was able to give me a 20 minute procedure that was life changing. Dr. Wiese is one of the best doctors I've ever had and I recommend him to everyone.

Read reviews. Not really sure what people are looking for. Dr Wiese has always been right on the mark in treating Me, my daughter and my daughter-in-law.

If you’re expecting someone that oozes with medical speak every time he opens his mouth, this is not your kind of guy. He is old-school, meaning most everything is done through paperwork. Don’t expect him to walk into the exam room with his laptop and start asking you to describe all your symptoms while he types away. You won’t get a sheet of paper telling you what to expect between now and your next visit when he’s finished. What you will get, is a guy who runs his own small office. His medical assistant, scheduling receptionist, and billing receptionist are all competent and very easy to talk to. His office and exam rooms are always clean. There are pros and cons to this set-up, depending on how you look at it. So far it’s worked for us. Do we wish certain aspects were different? Yes. But this is a doctor’s office we are talking about, not a fast food restaurant.

If you are looking for a doctor who is polite, has good bedside manners and is calm, this might not be a good doctor for you to use. Don’t settle.

Dr. Wiese is an amazing Physician and took great care of me..His staff is kind and efficient, and his Medical Assistant Sam is AWESOME!!

This Doctor is great. I've never waited in the waiting room for my appointment. Dr. Weise is friendly, knowledgeable, and spent time with me. He made me feel very comfortable and made sure all my questions were answered. Very happy with this Dr.
