Dr. Kurt A. Williams was raised in Salina, Kansas. After graduating from Salina Central High School, Dr. Williams attended Kansas Wesleyan University. After completing his undergraduate requirements, he attended the University of Nebraska–College of Dentistry. Dr. Williams graduated from Dental School in May of 1990, earning the class award for “Excellence in Operative Dentistry.†Shortly after graduation, he and his family moved to Ellsworth, Kansas, where he purchased his dental practice from Dr. Eugene C. Jarus.
Dr. Williams is an active member of several dental organizations. Locally, he is a member of the Salina Dental Society, the Oil Belt Study Club, and the Kansas Dental Association. Nationally, Dr. Williams is a member of the American Dental Association. Internationally, Dr. Williams is an active …member of the International Association for Orthodontists and is a founding member of the International Association of Mini Dental Implants. In 2007 and 2008, Dr. Williams was recognized by Who’s Who for being in the top 10% of general dental offices nationally.
Throughout his career, Dr. Williams has taken great pride in offering the most current dental treatment possible. Currently, Dr. Williams offers Kodak Digital X-rays, Kodak Digital Imaging, CEREC 3-D, Invisalign clear braces, Lumineers porcelain veneers, dental implants and Mini Dental implants in combination with an overall philosophy of Tooth-Conserving Dentistry. Dr. Williams uses these cosmetic dentistry techniques to provide his patients with the best results that modern dentistry can offer.
To stay current with the latest trends, Dr. Williams and his entire staff routinely attend the annual Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting–one of the largest dental meetings in the country. What really endears Dr. Williams to his patients, though, is not all of the techniques that he has learned; it is his extremely gentle touch!
Dr. Williams lives in Ellsworth with his wife of over 25 years, Shaun. They have 4 children: Tyler, Chelsea, Amber and Whitney. Tyler and his wife, Jessica, and son, Caden, live in Lawrence. Chelsea just finished school and is in Lawrence, too. Amber and Whitney are in high school.
