Dr. Kwame Safo Ntim, MD

Excellent board-certified M.D. and endocrinologist, and great medical friend. Thorough, careful and friendly RNs. Professional, fastidious and upbeat office staff. Spiritually and philosophically-based practice, and office environment. Most important, Dr. Kwame Ntim is the kind of physician and person who you want to take you on as his patient. He tends to be exceptionally knowledgeable, curious and skilled within his specialty, as well as across other specialty and primary care lines as needed. On a consistent basis, he takes the time to care for you in a manner that is very professional, thorough, accurate, respectful, and always positive and honest! At each visit, you receive a warm welcome, a little friendly chit-chat, and a careful exam. Before he orders any tests or procedures, he clearly explains each one, its advisability and “medical necessity,” approximate cost, and his reasons for ordering the tests/procedures at that time. Then, at your next visit, Dr. Ntim will… review the results/findings of each test taken. He will describe and help you understand any diagnosis that the results confirm, outrule, or indicate the need for further testing. Also, if and when appropriate, he may offer and explain a prognosis. He discusses treatment options, and offers to help you (and your caregiver) determine which one(s) may work best for you – including time, expense, side-effects, transportation. He answers your questions with the utmost respect and sensibility for your feelings and situation. And, he takes extra time to answer questions about your overall health, too – multi-systemic and multi-organ. He always offers advice and instructions that you can reasonably follow, and have the desire to do so. And, he encourages you to share information derived from him and his office, with any other physicians that you might see. One footnote: Waiting room time can be longer than 30 minutes, mainly because he tends to spend the same high level of time and care with each patient, and you can expect to get the same care when it’s your turn.

Dr Ntim is by far the most caring attentive Dr, who takes a great deal of time listening to all your concerns and addressing them. I have never felt so herd by anyone. I highly! Recommend him to anyone. Shannon arthur
