Dr. Chong treats each patient like family, and is quick to recommend the least invasive solution, even if it is non-surgical. He is very careful and thorough in his diagnoses, and very well versed in all things surgical.

Went to see Dr. Chong in regards to stones in my gallbladder and my liver. When going back and forth and asking questions about both, he very rudely told me that we can only talk about 1 thing at a time either the liver or the gallbladder. Also told me that he doesn't know why I have my condition that I can die in 3 months or in 3 years. Very unprofessional and very insensitive. I started crying after he told me that and he told me "what's wrong? Do you just want to come back another time? It seems like you're upset?" REALLY? How about, it's ok, don't worry, things will be fine. He is a TERRIBLE DR. I don't recommend him. Bad bedside manners as well!

Great physician with great bedside manner. Took care of me when my appendix ruptured and made my recovery that much faster. As a health care professional and past patient I will always recommend Dr Chong as the go to physician.

Dr Chong may be very good at practice of surgery but his ethics and bedside manor is very poor. He tells patients that he has no time to talk them or doesn't acknowledge that they are under his care is very unethical . Dr Chong needs to revisit the oath that he took when he became a doctor.
