Dr. Carson then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Maryland. She then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she received both her Certificate in Endodontics and her Master of Science degree in Oral Science. Dr. Carson is a board-certified member of the American Board of Endodontics. She is also a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, and continues her studies with the Edward Penick Endodontic Study Club at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.
