After earning his medical degree from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completing emergency medicine residency at the Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Dr. Evans spent a number of years working in the emergency department. “We see a lot of wounds and injuries in the ED that result in bad outcomes. One of the things we try to do in wound is limb salvage, trying to prevent loss of limb and limb amputations. It made a lot of sense for me to continue in that field and provide comprehensive care for those patients.”
