Dr. Carter is personable, and attentive, giving good advice with consideration and sensitivity. You can tell that he cares about his patients, even when they don't act as though they care enough about themselves. Had I met him earlier in his career, I'd have chose him as my primary care doctor long before now. On a 10 star scale, I would rate him a 12!

I have been going to Precision Family Medicine close to three years now. My regular doctor is out on vacation and I made an appt. with Dr. Carter since he had access to my records from my regular doctor. I have had chronic cough/ nausea before so it's nothing new, I've been prescribed medication before through my doctor with no issues, which helped. With the new doctor for two days I've been running around trying to get my medication, and still running around, instead of getting rest I have to worry about running from place to place and new medications, which have not helped. I'm just finally picking up another new precription called in for me. Been sick since Saturday/Sunday and missed all week of work. It would have really helped if you review the file and see what has been perceibed before which HELPED! Not to mention, the accounting accidentally overcharged my card causing another payment of men to be rejected. Communication is missing here.. Never did I have any issues… with my doctor, Dr Bailey. If you go to precision family medicine don't go to Dr. Carter.

I really do not like the services offered by Dr. Carter. I had been his patient previously but now I am not.

Dr. Carter has been my primary care provider for the past 10 years. He has treated me for numerous ailments and has been consistently thorough and courteous each time. Dr. Carter's nurse (Ashley) is attentive and responsive to calls. If you're looking for a caring, kind, direct and methodical doctor that genuinely cares about your wellbeing, give Dr. Carter a try. I have moved to Allen and continue to make the drive to see him. He's just that good. There may be a wait time because he tends to spend the time each patient needs, even if that puts him behind 10 mins. I've never felt rushed with him and I've always left feeling as though I'd covered everything on my list. The front desk staff has always left a little to be desired, so you'd benefit knowing that going in. I've always disliked that doctors are reviewed on their staff, although I certainly know it's part of the overall experience.

I chose Dr. Carter based on patient reviews, knowing that my 8-year-old was nervous about a new doctor. (We recently moved here.) The staff made the first visit completely easy, were wonderfully efficient, and everybody friendly with big smiles. Dr. Carter came in and, knowing my son was the patient, went directly to him for introductions and to shake hands. Although Dr. Carter obviously let me make any big decisions, he addressed my son throughout, looking at me to confirm things. He gave us two options for treatment--then a third, based on our initial feedback. He was always conservative, meaning "let's not do too much until we see how it's working." And he kept asking us what questions we had, never rushing us. I left confident that Dr. Carter would be my primary care, too. Oh, and I forgot to get a school note, so I called them back and, before I could ask, the nurse said, "Why don't I just fax the school for you?" No complaint about the extra work.

Of all of my Drs. and I have several, he is my all time favorite. I would recommend him to anyone and have. He is the most caring and willing to spend time and actually TALK to you. Thanks Dr. Carter for all that you have done for me.

While Dr. Carter has great bedside manner, genuinely cares about his patients, his office staff is unprofessional, does not keep patient appointments, and when attempting to reschedule, their general demeanor is both condescending and downright rude. I've been going to Dr. Carter's office for many years. He's the first general practitioner I've found in Dallas that I really liked going to. After several phone calls, and a couple of emails (the last of which was never returned by Dr. Carter) I've decided I won't be going back here. I set a 10:45am appointment, showed up at 10:22am, and at 11:06am finally asked why I had not been seen yet. Several patients had left the patient-area, and no one was in the waiting room at this time. I was told it would still be a while and the office staff I dealt with insisted my appointment was at 11:00 am and not 10:45am, and that I'd shown up way too early. She also stated no beds or rooms were available, but at least 3 people had left the patient area… with no new people being admitted. It's unfortunate a business is run by rude office staff who lack customer service skills, but that's certainly the case here. Disappointing.

Dr Carter and his office staff are great. The office staff would have gotten excellent as well. But, The few times I have been in the office the front office staff maybe away and the individual in the corner doesnt acknowledge your existence. Overall both the and the remainder of the staff are great.

I found him a little over 6 months ago, and he's great! Very knowledgeable and is willing to listen to your comments and thoughts too!
