I have never walked out of a doctor's appointment before, but this one left me with no confidence that I was heard or properly evaluated. I came in after weeks of severe pain, hoping to find out what was causing it. The appointment lasted less than 15 minutes, and I left feeling my concerns were dismissed before they were ever really looked into. What stood out to me was that conversations about my case took place openly, where both I and the person accompanying me could hear them. After I walked out, Dr. Klitsch continued discussing my case with the person who came with me, even though I was no longer in the room. That made me extremely uncomfortable, and it did not feel like the kind of care I expect from a doctor's office. I wasn't expecting an instant diagnosis. I just wanted a doctor who would listen, ask questions, and actually examine me. Instead I left feeling unheard, discouraged, and no closer to understanding why I'm in so much pain. I hope no one else has to repeat the… same dismissive experience.

Disappointed. I took my son for an evaluation based on a referral from his doctor at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Klitsch started out with my son's history. The doctor then preceded to make assumptions on what needed to be done for my son before he even started the physical evaluation. He completed freaked my 16 year old son out by his assessment. He pressed for me to cancel all my appts with my son's already established docs & to only use the docs in his practice. Once he did his evaluation (which only 5 min.) he determined that he did not vestibular issues. I called his doctor at CHOP and they told me to see another doctor and that they would never refer their patients to Dr. Klitsch again. I took him to a new doctor the next day. The new doctor determined after a 90 min evaluation that he did have vestibular issues and would need therapy. The new doctor's evaluation agreed with the doctor from CHOP.
