He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at New York University’s Hospital for Joint Diseases. Everyone in the office is competent. File is ready when you arrive. Both visits got in right on time. The receptionist even thanked me and gave me best wishes hoping the visit would alleviate my pain.

I was a transfer from Trident, lowcountry orthopedics. I was not please with the care I was getting from them. I wanted / needed a second opinion. The difference I would compare like college grades, I moved from a C- organization to an A+ institution. Overall I was impressed my Dr. Kokko's ability to listen and diagnose and resolve my issue. I am in the healing process now, but am making leaps and bounds over where I was.

Dr Kokko was wonderful and quickly got me in for surgery and back to myself! I would highly recommend him. His PA Ann was also wonderful and very sweet.
