Dr. Kyle Mauk, MD

Completely incompetent. My wife went into the office for ankle pain. The doctor inserted a needle into her ankle to inject cortisone however the doctor could not "find the spot to inject". My wife was screaming in pain, the doctor continued to move the needle around in her ankle, and my wife wound up in the E.R. for the next 6 hours. The U.F. E.R. staff said to my wife DON'T EVER GO TO THAT DOCTOR AGAIN. I explained it was a U.F. health doctor and they repeated themselves. Finally, I was the emergency contact. The doctors office never notified me she was being rushed to the E.R. I found out after she was admitted. Not only incompetent but also uncaring. If you choose this doctor be ready to log into floridahealth.gov to file a Complaint. You'll need to.

Dr. Mauk has an excellent bed-side manner, communicates clearly and listened to what I had to say. His staff i9s also very professional and friendly.

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Mauk over the past several months. He is a recent graduate from the program at UF and his stellar training is apparent in his patient rapport and knowledge-base. He also treats my husband and son and we are very satisfied with the high level of care he has provided our whole family. He’s good with kids and sports medicine; my son is a high school athlete and Dr. Mauk has helped his tendinitis and plantar fasciitis immensely. We can not recommend Dr. Mauk highly enough!!

Excellent Dr! I was told I needed surgery to have my toenail removed to rule out cancer under my nail. I was told I needed to go to a surgery center to have my toenail removed and skin biopsied. I went to Dr Mauk for a second opinion. He told me it was a hematoma under my nail and it would fall off. Sure enough the day before my scheduled procedure my nail fell off and was perfect underneath!

From my own experience with this Dr. His performance very poor , unkowleghable, have very poor evaluation and diagnostic, I do not know how graduated as a doctor from UF health and how he work for UF health jax this big establishment. Really, wasting for the time seeing this doctor , he have go back to a good medical school again.
