Summary

I was drawn to surgery because it allows me to solve problems in a direct and tangible way. Podiatric foot and ankle surgery stood out to me because of how profoundly it affects a person’s independence. Most people do not think about mobility until it becomes limited. When a patient can walk without pain again, the improvement in their daily life is immediate and noticeable. The combination of technical challenge and meaningful impact is what led me to this field and continues to motivate me every day. I believe the best care comes from treating the whole patient rather than focusing only on the pathology. I take time to understand what each patient hopes to return to—whether that is work, exercise, or simply walking comfortably—and build a treatment plan around those goals. I rely on evidence-based care and am honest about what surgery can and cannot achieve. Not every problem requires an operation, and when surgery is appropriate, patients deserve a clear explanation of their options, the risks involved, and the recovery process. My goal is for every patient to leave a visit with a solid understanding of their condition and a sense of partnership in the decisions we make together. My clinical interests include complex limb salvage, foot and ankle reconstruction, sports-related foot and ankle injuries, and deformity correction. I am actively involved in surgical education at the national level, serving on the Council on Podiatric Medical Education’s Residency Evaluation Committee and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Fellowship Committee. I am also completing a graduate degree in global healthcare leadership at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, reflecting my interest in global health and healthcare leadership. When I’m not in the clinic or operating room, I spend most of my time with family and friends. I enjoy running, watching sports, and getting outside whenever I can. I also appreciate a good round of golf and trying new restaurants.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
