He has successfully replaced BOTH of my knees!! I have my independence back 100%. His bedside manner is amazing!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Shepperson to anyone and everyone. He is a KNOWLEDGEABLE and HIGHLY COMPETENT surgeon who also has a WONDERFUL bed side manner and is EXTREMELY KIND!. He replaced both my knees, both my dad’s hips, as well as my dad’s neighbors hips. We all think he is the BEST and can’t BRAG ENOUGH about him! We ALL 3 have NO MORE PAIN. He even sat and TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN to me whine about scars afterwards which should have been the least of my worries. The END RESULTS 2 PAIN FREE KNEES and 2 BARELY NOTICEABLE SCARS, you have to really look to even see them! I am SO PLEASED with the whole experience and the end results. A BIG BIG THANK YOU to Dr Shepperson and team!

Dr. Shepperson is a caring, highly skilled surgeon. He replaced by left knee and I was up and walking the day after surgery. I highly recommend his services.

I was denied my request to obtain a doctor's note to wear tennis shoes to work. He implied that was beneath his pay grade. He insulted me by the delivery of his weight management questions. My impression was he was condescendingly rude, arrogant and not at all caring about my medical history. He seemed to be in a rush, like I didn't have his undivided attention. As I was leaving, I happened to overhear him transcribing my visit, and naturally I walked out to him stating "Severely Obese." I didn't even look up at him, I was insulted and kept on walking. I would recommend for the future, he not transcribe where his patients can overhear. That was hurtful. I already know I need to lose weight. Everything I stated in my previous paragraph are very hurtful. I am a breast cancer survivor, I feel like I am dealing with the residual effects of chemo and radiation, and for his insensitivity, it was blatantly uncalled for. I got the impression that he goes to work for the paycheck 1st,… then to help his patients. What a shame. Lastly, I gave him one star, because he did minimize my pain with a cortisone shot. Hopefully that will get me through the next few weeks, until I meet with my new ortho dr. ~NOW - a former patient.

Having Major pain a year after knee replacement surgery. Although he is nice, he isn't interested in finding out the reason for constant pain to the point of having to use walker and at times being completely "laid up" for weeks. Unable to even walk, crying myself to sleep because of pain. A person cannot live like this. Was told to get a second opinion. What kind of doctor does this?

Dr. Shepperson has done 2 knee replacements and 1 hip replacement for me. He is going to replace the other hip in 1 week. He is by far, the best doctor I have ever encountered. He is first class in my estimation. He is not only a superb, knowledgeable surgeon, he is also one of the most compassionate, caring doctors I have ever had. I would highly recommend him to anyone with joint problems. You will not be disappointed.

I sustained a knee sprain and could not get in to see him for two months! He did give me a cortizone shot, showed me with a model of the knee where my injury is. Now I have to wait another month, with my knee elevated so it can heal. I think next time I will go to a doctor who can see me in a more timely fashion. I also sustained a hip bursitis on my left hip and, here we go again-another 2 month wait. I have an appointment with him June22!! Not if I can help it, sorry to say. Summary: He is an excellent physician, great bedside manner, great staff, but he needs a partner to take his patients when he is gone taking continuous education classes. Or spread them out.

You get a lot of run around when you call to make an appointment and when you call and ask questions after your appointment. It is almost like they think if they just keep putting you off you will go away. Why don't they just tell you we can not help you and maybe you need to find a new Dr. My pain is non-stop and all I am asking them do I need to go see a different kind of Dr. that might be able to help with it. Even if they would say that is up to you would be better than being put off over and over!!!

Dr. Shepperson is a wonderful surgeon, I fell off my roof and broke my ankle really, really bad. I didn't know if I would ever walk again. Dr. Shepperson performed surgery the next day, and fixed my ankle like new. He's a kind and caring doctor, and I would highly recommend him!
