Dr. Kyle W Taylor

Kyle W. Taylor, DDS has practiced dentistry for more than 30 years, the majority being in his solo dental practice. He graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, GA with honors in 1983. In his senior year, he was faculty selected into the dental honor fraternity Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
After graduation he extended his education by completing a dental General Practice Residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital 1983-84 (now Carolinas Medical Center), where he treated a variety of medically compromised patients (cancer patients, severe diabetics, etc.) as well as patients with trauma to the teeth and jaws. Afterward he started 2 different private practices in the UNCC area of Charlotte, where he also worked and treated patients for over 28 years.
In 2009 he completed a nine month mini-residency in dental implantology at the Triangle Dental Institute in Durham, N.C., gaining valuable education and experience in this field.
He obtained his BA undergraduate degree in …Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979. He is licensed in both NC and FL.
Dr. Taylor has assisted in past years with the Communities in Schools' The Partnership for Children's Dental Health by providing complimentary dental care to underserved children, as well as Give Kids A Smile day, and he looks forward to continued dental volunteerism.
Dr. Taylor enjoys casual biking and hiking, and along with his wife Linda enjoys lake activities and playing with their two rescued Maltese terriers. Linda is very committed to volunteerism and online networking and petitioning to assist numerous local and national dog and cat rescue organizations and causes.
