Dr. Kyle Ver Steeg II, MD, FACS

Dr. Ver Steeg learned early in his life what a difference plastic surgery can make in someone’s life. One friend with a cleft palate was helped by a plastic surgeon. Another friend received care after a lawnmower accident. He credits his grandfather with instilling a sense of hard work and drive that has helped to guide him through life.Additionally, Dr. Ver Steeg finds the field of plastic surgery quite intellectually stimulating. Encountering problems not found in a textbook, he has to weight the different options and come up with the right solution for problem at hand. Dr. Ver Steeg has a special interest in reconstructive surgeries including facial trauma, breast reconstruction, skin cancer surgery and wound care.Dr. Ver Steeg is a member of Team Rubicon, offering his medical expertise in the area of international medical relief. His most recent trip with Team Rubicon was in September 2021, helping with medical relief after an earthquake. He enjoys cooking, spending time …with his family fishing, hunting and backpacking.
