I was looking for a new family doctor because the previous one gradually became worse over the years in terms of service. For example, the old doctor rushed me during physical exam and he put the stethoscope over my shirt to listen for vitals and always discouraged me to ask questions that would have taken up more time. I picked Dr. Wang due to the close distance. Getting the appointment was easy and the wait was not bad. I went there for a physical exam and shoulder pain. The office, which was converted from an actual house was welcoming, clean and had a cozy feel to it. However, the staff was cold and seemed unwilling to help. When I asked questions regarding the shoulder referral, I felt like I did something wrong. I was basically told to check for the answer myself on Google.The time with Dr. Wang felt rushed. He breezed through the physical exam but he did put the stethoscope under my shirt and held it there for about 1/2 a second at each major organ. He also did not… welcome my questions and my attempts to small talk in hopes to build a lasting doctor/patient relationship largely failed.Overall, Dr. Wang seemed like a nice man but do not expect more than the typical family doctor where quantity exceeds quality.
