Level of care is high and worked with me to get my dosages correct and have been working with him for years.

HORRIBLE!!!! This doctor only cares about money and doesn't treat his patients, instead he writes them scripts for medication with dosages that are too high for anyone to handle. He is extremely rude, nasty, and could care less about the patient, he only cares about the money!!! He will never return phone calls and won't even ask to see how you are doing, he has no consideration for your well being, just cares about what's in your wallet. If I could, I'd give him zero stars, TERRIBLE doctor!!! Even for or during an emergency he will never return a call! Total scam! He should not be called a doctor!!!

Went to this guy back in 99 after car accident with my sister Was kicked to the curb. after getting hooked on Effexor and Xanax and told me to call my insurance because their not paying him He said Because I wasn't talking about the accident enough AREN'T PATIENT FILES "CONFIDENTIAL" Had to have my GP keep prescribing these drugs til this day He's useless

Stay away. Repeat, stay away. All guy will do is write you a prescription. Gives no counseling, offers no therapy, no help. Doesn't give a you know what. Just wants your money. And good luck getting in touch with him if you need him. He can't be bothered to return your phone call and has no secretary.

Dr Shin is knowledgable , and a very good natured person. I will continue seeing him

First visit with what I thought was a well educated psychiatrist. Needed to talk about personal problems and struggles with depression regarding my wife. He spoke about other patients, did not address my concerns or give me coping skills. Just 2 highly addictive prescriptions. I wish I knew of this web site before hand. I am not a medication taker, was hoping to gain knowledge on coping skills. Will NEVER go back! Nor will I fill the scripts.

Funny no one else agrees and all gave a 1 star rating. If there was a 0 stars option that would most likely be what the other reviewers would give.

Very satisfied. Good result of my diagnosis.

Over prescribed meds w/ no diagnoises or counceling. I am not the first person to be over medicated by Dr. Shin. My friends mom was also over medicated and died. He also commited fraud by billing insurance for visit that never took place.
