Dr. Kyungyee Lee Wells, MD

Dr. Wells is an "outstanding" clinician who refuses to coddle her patients or their obsessive parents on any level. If you're overly sensitive to common sense practices, then she's not the gal for you. See someone who'll be happy to give lip service and call it medical advice.

I went to Dr Wells as a child and she caused a lot of emotional trauma due to her lack of care and concern as well as harsh manner. You should not call a child fat and ask them why they are so fat! She in no way tried to help find out if there was any other causes for weight gain but just called me fat anytime I saw her. I was not fat, she had prescribed medication that caused me to gain weight. A Doctor should help, especially children, but after this experience I have a fear of going to the doctor and developed an eating disorder.

She was my doctor when I was younger about a decade ago. She ignored me when I said that I thought I had migraines, saying that I was too young for them. Doctors later confirmed that I did have migraines. Also during one of my last visits before heading to college (and thankfully changing doctors), she said I was too dumb to have been accepted to the college I was accepted to.

My child and my nieces and nephews (6 total) have used Dr. Wells for 25 years.Dr. and staff are excellent. She is very to the point and is usually correct in her diagnosis. She refuses to just give out medicine like candy. She cares very much about all her patients. She enjoys finding out what is going on in their life, even though she can't spend lots of time talking as she does have other patients!Staff always tries to fit my child in on short notice and fills out forms when needed. I am lucky to have such a wonderful doctor for my child.

I have no idea what kind a Doctor she is , But i can tell you that she is in for the MONEY , The most is 10 minutes & she out of the room , My daughter is throughing up since she was new born , Guess what she said , i can't really do anything about it , you have to live with it , thats how she is !!!!! After 2 years finally my wife changed her & the new Doctor did her best to see whats wrong with her from blood work , X-Rays ...etc & Now she is getting better thanks god . Really Bad Experince , Advice not to go there .....:(((((

Dr. Wells is a fabulous doctor. I've been taking my children to see her for 15 years. She answers any questions i have. I find that she is overly cautious sometimes, and that I like! She sent us into Boston twice with two of my children, and though both times it turned out to be nothing major, I was glad that she didn't brush it aside and wanted to look into it further and sent us somewhere that she thought we could receive the help we needed. I disagree completely with the negative comments made about her on other sites. My third child was a preemie and she spent tons of time with me answering all questions and concerns I had. I think she is great~ Forget what the others say about her!
