Dr. Laban Bontrager, DDS

Sad part is the original Dr. Bontrager is a wonderful dentist. Nice, courteous, and very story oriented. Loves to speak about Alaska and the truth is I liked to hear about it very much. One day I became very ill around the time the Pandemic was just starting but not yet the Pandemic we know now. I called and had to cancel telling them I was very ill and did not know what was wrong. They cancelled it and later told me if I ever wanted to make another appointment I would need to put down a deposit. I had been going there for years and could not believe they were saying this to me. I have never owed them a penny when I left the office and if so it was do to insurance adjusting and I would make up the difference as soon as notified. Not because it was them but because I don't place my debts on the backburner. I said you would be willing to lose a customer that has been with you for years because I called in and now require a down payment for all services not yet rendered!? Well I told her… I would be taking my and my daughters business elsewhere. I found a wonderful dentist that laughed at the story when I told him about it and he is a much better dentist than the dentist that took over for Mr. Dr. Bontrager. Its funny how bad things can happen yet be blessings in disguise. I am so glad they were rude to me so I could see who I was actually doing business with.
