Dr. Lacey Kay Zack, MD

Well, When I met Dr Lacey Zack ,I raked her over the coals being my fourth knee surgery, I was overly cautious ,and probably a total pain in the butt. Im surprised she accepted me as a patient . So we had a little rocky start, my fault . BUT.... Thankfully she has been the BEST knee surgeon Ive ever had .she is passionate about her job,I see it in her eyes when she talks about her work, and my progress. She is very supportive of me and changing my career . Im in the service industry which is horrible for my knee ,and encouraged me to pursue other careers . I give her 10 stars and thank her for putting up with me in the beginning .. Great doctor in every aspect . I feel very blesses that she is my surgeon .Thank you ! Keely McKeighan

I can't believe I've waited this long to write a review for Dr. Zack, or that she has so few reviews! I've had knee problems my whole life, and I've been seen by several orthopedic specialists. I found Dr. Zack when I moved to California, and I have NEVER had a more thoughtful, kind, or intelligent orthopedist. She's very thorough and runs through all options with my personal health as the number one priority - not money or expediency, like some other doctors I've had in the past. She spends all the time necessary to help me, and it's clear how much she cares about my overall health, pain, and mobility. She's always up to date on the latest treatment information and research, and I've come to her several times to confirm the information another doctor has given me about different things involving my knees, joints, or muscles. She's also gone the extra mile to help with my care by finding me the best supplemental help (including a pain clinic to manage my fibromyalgia and a dietitian to… help me lose weight, which is incredibly hard when you have severe chronic pain and mobility issues). On top of that, her staff are all amazing. They're friendly, kind, and always available to help. Dr. Zack is, hands down, the only orthopedist I ever want to see again. She's the absolute best!!!

I had torn the meniscus in my knee in several places. I had put off doing anything about it for way too long. Finally, I was limping--in serious pain. Dr. Zack got me into an MRI, and quickly got me into a surgery session with her a few days later. The surgery was (from my end) stress-free. The staff, nurses, and anesthesiologist were all great. Dr. Zack explained the possible outcomes, and it helped me plan for my recovery. I went from being in so much pain that it was difficult to sleep, to feeling like I have a new knee. Going from full-time pain to pain-free feels like a miracle. If you're in pain, do not put it off! She is also a kind person with a great bedside manner who will put you at ease. If you need an ortho, you could not do better.
