Dr. Lacy Stephens, CCC-SLP

Lacy J. Stephens, CCC-SLP, is a certified speech pathologist specializing in the rehabilitation of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals with head and neck cancer. She provides comprehensive rehabilitation therapy following chemoradiation and surgical interventions, with a focus in total laryngectomy care-including alaryngeal communication using electrolaryngeal, esophageal speech, and tracheoesophageal voice restoration. Her clinical practice spans the full continuum of care, including pre-treatment counseling, acute post-operative management, and long-term survivorship support.Lacy's professional interests include improving functional outcomes in oncologic rehabilitation through integration of evidence-based swallowing interventions, and participation in a multidisciplinary model of care in head and neck oncology.
